Developed entirely with racing in mind, the Tanabe Racing Medalion Catback Exhaust's lightweight design makes extracting the full potential of any highly-tuned engine possible. Gain the upper hand with Tanabe race-proven exhaust technology designed to minimize weight and maximize performance. Developed with feedback from Japan's top race teams, it achieves the ideal combination of a lightweight cat-back exhaust system with a free-flowing straight-through design for maximum performance and durability. Features include a riveted muffler that allows it to be overhauled, or for replacement of the fiberglass packing. Special fiberglass packing is used to dissipate the exhaust reverberations and resist hardening from the extreme temperatures produced by high performance engines. The subtle angle, as used on most race cars, gives the Tanabe Racing Medalion Catback it's aggressive appearance. In most cases a 30% weight reduction is realized when compared to a stock exhaust.
