The Type-S dampening system from Greddy have an adjustable threaded base and spring perch. This allows for height adjustments to be made without sacrificing spring preload or shock stroke. Pillowball upper mounts are standard equipment on vehicles with front strut type suspension as is a camber adjustable 10mm thick aluminum upper plate. On vehicles with non-strut type suspensions, a thick 33mm strengthened rubber bushing is used on sturdy 10mm thick billet upper mounts. The use of a large 46mm diameter piston in a Monotube shock design provides quick reacting dampening even during low speeds. The construction of the case is not only lightweight but also designed to be very rigid. By using a special 32 way valve needle, the Type-S suspension allows for compression and rebound dampening to be adjusted simultaneously to suit the street or track.
