PRODUCT DETAILS:
Steeda has put together suspension systems that include everything needed to build an awesome handling car with excellent street manners. Each kit provides an outstanding improvement in performance and a well balanced car at the end of each stage.
Steeda's Stage 1 suspension package will enhance the appearance of your vehicle and dramatically improve handling without sacrificing ride quality. Stage 1 also provides the foundation for future improvements essential to performance with the following components:
Sport Springs: Lowers vehicle approx 1 inch in front and 1 1/4 in rear. The rear of the vehicle sits higher than the front in factory form, shifting weight towards the front. Sport springs provide better weight distribution.
Strut Tower Brace and G-Trac brace: These braces stiffen the front body structure to stabilize the suspension during hard cornering by eliminating flex.
Adjustable Panhard Rod: Adjustable for length to help adjust rear end alignment.
Stage 2 picks up where Stage 1 leaves off. This kit will further improve the suspension providing greater off the line and corner exit traction, improved tuneable shock valving, and better steering response and balance with the following components:
Tokico D-SPEC shocks and struts - These adjustable shocks have infinite, simultaneous adjustment of compression and rebound dampening.
Billet rear lower trailing arms: These aluminum arms keep unsprung weight down and noticeably improve off the line and corner exit traction without adding unwanted NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness).
Rear Swaybar: Larger than O.E. rear swaybar provides better rear compliance
and reduces understeer improving handling balance.
Stage 3 continues to build on Stages 1 and 2. Stage 3 combined with 1 and 2 transforms your Mustang into a World Class sports car capable of handling reserved for cars costing tens of thousands of dollars more! The following components compose Stage 3:
Adjustable Front Swaybar: A full 1 3/8 tubular unit. This swaybar is the lightest aftermarket bar in the industry. It has 3 position adjustment to dial in vehicle balance.
Front Street Adjustable Swaybar Endlinks: Replace the factory fixed endlinks.
Front Swaybar Mount Brace: These braces eliminate rotation of the front swaybar and yield better swaybar compliance.
Front Bump Steer kit: Corrects bump steer in the front suspension. Directly replaced outer tie rod end.
Adjustable rear upper 3rd link: This part allows the ability to set pinion
angle and eliminate the torque deflection of the factory piece.
3-point Frame Rail and Torque Box brace: This brace ties the rear inner and outer frame rails to the rear torque box (lower trailing arm mounting point). Stiffens the chassis and torque box mounting point for improved handling and stability.
