Transforming your ride from a ho-hum grocery getter to a slick head-turner takes more than just a body kit. There are literally thousands of options available to make your car a one-of-a-kind showpiece. Below is a short description of many of the most popular body panels and aerodynamic accessories we offer. You'll notice that many of them are available in several materials. FRONT BUMPERS The front bumper is typically your car's showpiece. It's usually the first thing that people notice about your car and it generally defines your ride's personality. Mounts over the front bumper support in the place of the factory front bumper. Many front bumpers feature open areas for ducts or grilles which should be covered with mesh. Some applications may require modification or removal of certain safety equipment. Front bumpers are available in fiberglass, polyurethane, ABS plastic, and carbon fiber. REAR BUMPERS The rear bumper mounts over the rear bumper supports in place of the factory rear bumper. Many rear bumpers have one or two cutouts for exhaust tips. Most will fit properly over the factory exhaust, but if you have an aftermarket exhaust, you might need to make some minor modifications to position your exhaust tip(s) to fit the cutout(s) better. Some rear bumpers have open ducts that look great with mesh. Some applications may require modification or removal of certain safety equipment. SIDE SKIRTS Side skirts are runners along the bottom of your car's side, between the front and rear wheel wells and below the doors. A pair of side skirts is an important component of any body kit because it mates the sides of the car with the same low, aggressive profile as the front and rear bumpers. Some side skirts include ducts near the rear for an extra sporting touch. Side skirts are available in fiberglass, polyurethane, ABS plastic, and carbon fiber. WING OR SPOILERS One of the easiest and most popular ways to dress up your car's rear end is with a wing. Wings bolt directly onto the trunk lid and range from mild to wild. Some wings incorporate a third brake light for extra safety. Wings are available in aluminum, fiberglass, and carbon fiber. |

CARBON FIBER HOOD OR OEM HOOD Aftermarket hoods are popular because of their great looks and weight-saving benefits. Factory hoods are made of steel and are very heavy, but aftermarket hoods are typically made of fiberglass or carbon fiber and typically weigh only a few pounds. Some hoods have a factory look, while others incorporate scoops, vents, and other styling cues for a more aggressive tuner look. Because the latch platforms on aftermarket hoods are not made of metal, they require a pair of hood pins to keep them securely closed at high speed. TRUNK LID Aftermarket trunk lids lighten your car by replacing the steel factory trunk lid with a lighter one made of fiberglass or carbon fiber. Trunk lids can be easily drilled to accept a rear wing. |

FENDERS If you're installing a body kit, you might want to replace your factory fenders with a pair of aftermarket fenders.
